1980 - A decisive encounter

François Devictor, an agricultural engineer trained at ESAP Purpan, fell under the spell of the Domaine de La Sanglière in Bormes-les-Mimosas. Seduced by the beauty of the site and its viticultural potential, he decided to settle there to create great wines, a stone's throw from the Mediterranean.

1981 – The estate's renewal

The estate covers 42 hectares. François is completely restructuring it, plot by plot, with one ambition: to produce exceptional wines. A modern cellar is being built to enhance each vintage. Friends come to lend a hand, in an atmosphere of sharing, intense work, and hope.

1983 - The first harvest

The very first harvest marked a turning point. Alongside his father, Rémy, 16 years old at the time, lived this formative experience. He discovered the vineyard in a new light, and above all, a passion that would never leave him.

1989 – Rémy joins the adventure

A few years later, Rémy officially joined the estate. Present at every stage, from the vineyard to the cellar, he forged his experience with commitment, and began to build the future of La Sanglière.

2000 – Olivier enters the scene

Olivier, the younger brother, joined the family business. A graduate in viticulture and oenology, he took charge of the technical side of things. Rémy, meanwhile, focused on business development, both in France and internationally. Together, they laid the foundations for a new era of success for the estate.

2016 – The next generation with Pierre

Pierre, François' grandson, represents the third generation. A passionate young winemaker, he is committed to sustainable viticulture. He is taking charge of the vineyard work and initiating the estate's conversion to organic farming.
